When she ditched her job in ethnographic consulting to be a freelance writer and stay-at-home mom, Kit Pollard traded in her power stilettos for flip-flops and learned to conduct phone interviews with a chatty child in the background.
But she didn’t entirely abandon the glamorous life. When she’s not opening juice boxes, Kit throws way-too-big parties, cooks complicated dinners, and decorates (and redecorates) her house.
